It has nothing to do with stalking. Chad Kroeger is basically saying that hey, my girl thinks the WORST sometimes of me because I mess up, but no matter what, I'm not quitting on her. He's not saying "I want you to bury me in the ground because I fucked up." He's basically saying, "You can think all this about me, or you COULD do these things to me that I'm talkin about in the song, even though I know you won't. But SAY YOU DID.. you can't keep a good man down, I'm a man with good intentions, and I'll always follow you home.. whether literally, or I'll always be with you in your heart."

If MY man dedicated this to me, I would be all over him and fall in love all over again. It's not what I would call a beautiful love song, but it's about love and loyalty. Every girl talks crap behind their man's back and says the worst to their girlfriends or family sometimes, but they are just waiting for someone to say, "You're wrong. He loves you and he's a good guy." It's all about what's in your soul. Most of Nickelback's music is.
