An adolescent crush could never come close to the angst of a real relationship. This song's lyrics don't need to be complex because they speak to all with layman's terms of how ill it is to be the one that gets broken up with. The lyrics are severely real.

This angst feels particularly teenage for some reason... most likely because I heard it during the days when I was in the throes of adolescent crushes. The lyrics aren't much to speak for, but the rhythm, the bone thugs and Mariah's voice, oh! Such stylish angst indeed.

I really love this song, every lyric in this song i can relate to. I have listened to this song so many times, i have cried about this song, i can relate to it as i went through the same experience. Its an AMAZING song Mariah Carey sang it beautifuly and Bone thug n harmony just add that extra something to it. I love it.
